Monique (she/her) is a dedicated Limited Licensed Social Worker with a deep commitment to creating a therapeutic space of unconditional acceptance---one that is not just non-judgmental, but warmly welcoming and profoundly empathetic. Monique goes beyond the surface, embracing every facet of who you are, including those parts that may have been shrouded in shame. Monique's passion lies in helping individuals heal from the wounds of complex trauma, childhood abuse, and PTSD, especially those facing relational struggles.
With extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and childhood trauma, Monique is uniquely equipped to guide women and young adults through their healing process. She also specializes in helping those with ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and depression find relief and renewed strength.
Monique believes in the uniqueness of each individual's journey, shaping her therapy to be as distinctive as the person seeking it. Her diverse therapeutic toolbox includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Psychoeducation, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic practices, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Attachment Theory. Monique integrates these approaches in a holistic, mind-body framework to empower lasting growth and healing. Under her expert guidance, therapy becomes a deeply personalized and transformative journey--one that fosters self-discovery, resilience, and profound healing.
Monique earned her Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan, where she also obtained a certification in trauma, and holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from Alma College.
