Erin Lawson has over 25 years of experience working with children, families, parents, and all aged adults to address adjustment, learning, mental health, relationship, communication and behavioral challenges. She is passionate about helping people realize their own potential through creating balance, acceptance, and building a healthy mindset. Moreover, she believes that we are all students of life; we are continually learning and evolving. School and clinical psychology has provided her the opportunity to view challenges that people experience through that lens of learning. Assisting individuals to develop skills to face daily challenges in life is her passion. Erin uses a variety of methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral approaches (DBT), Behavior Modification, and parenting coaching, with a realistic, down to earth approach.
Erin is a licensed School Psychologist and a Limited Licensed Psychologist. She has her Specialist degree in School Psychology, Master's in Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
In addition to treating anxiety, adjustment, depression, obsessive compulsive disorders, and other mental health and behavioral challenges, Erin is versed in special education law and advocacy.
