I believe that when one is out of balance, our mind and body will let us know. It may be in the way of a slight tap on your shoulder, or it may be a sudden unexpected shake to your core, but either one needs attention.

I am passionate about helping others to identify what balance looks like for themselves and giving both the needed space and support to find that balance. Developing increased insight is a powerful tool that allows you to better understand yourself and experience more fulfilling relationships with others. I work on helping individuals identify and build upon their strengths to create positive changes in their lives, such as alleviating depression and anxiety and restoring healthy relationships.

I have been passionate about the world of psychology from a young age. I completed my bachelors degree with a major in psychology from Michigan State University. I then attended graduate school in Chicago and obtained a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2002.

I have worked in a variety of settings and have years of experience providing therapy to adults. I also benefitted from specialized training in utilizing biofeedback to teach the mind and body how to self-regulate. I'm now able to help clients use specific tools and techniques developed from science backed knowledge about our nervous system to better manage our moods, anxiety and stress.

My approach is both insight and action oriented with a focus on understanding each client from a holistic perspective. I hope to provide a comfortable space where you can explore challenging thoughts, feelings, behaviors and identify the obstacles that are interfering with your goals.

If you are feeling stuck in old patterns, or overwhelmed with life's current challenges you are not alone and you deserve the opportunity to explore more productive ways of living.
