Nicole Miller, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is skilled at developing a warm, compassionate, and trusting relationship with her clients. She utilizes evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches. Dr. Miller is experienced in the treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, and trauma. She also specializes in providing psychological assessments for issues such as ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, and giftedness.
After earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from Michigan State University, Nicole completed her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. During her clinical training she worked in school, hospital, and inpatient settings. Her doctoral internship was completed at a residential treatment center for adolescents with severe behavioral and emotional difficulties. Dr. Miller's research interests include the areas of childhood trauma, impulsivity, and interpersonal difficulties.
